Pretty Cure is a franchise that lends itself well to fanseasons, particularly after 2008, creating a tight-knit community within an already small-town-like fandom. Much like the rest of the English fandom, the OC fic writers congregate at LiveJournal.
These works include:[]
- By cure_shabon: Pretty Cure Perfume Preppy, the most famous, in which a team of five with powers from certain scents fights an evil organization; Bokura wa Gaia Pretty Cure, featuring a Boarding School setting and Animal Motifs; Chanbara Pretty Cure, a Samurai Sentai Shinkenger-inspired entry with a season motif; and Futari wa Pretty Cure Overdrive, with a car/racing theme;
- By flamingruby: Futari wa Pretty Cure Flash Fire with a fire-and-ice duo;
- By cyanfox27: Shining Pretty Cure, where a group of four gem-themed girls (and an eventual Fifth Ranger, very, very strongly hinted to be their Ill Girl friend) compete with other jewel-themed people for a Dismantled MacGuffin, Pretty Cure ~ Mirai Spark!, featuring another Boarding School and a theme of Japanese mythology, Pretty Cure Lucky Shuffle, featuring a tarot card thematic, Pretty Cure Heart Cross, featuring a chess thematic, Prism Panic Pretty Cure, an Affectionate Parody with a color thematic, Denji Pretty Cure, a Denji Sentai Megaranger-inspired entry with a digital technology theme, and Sweet Reverie Pretty Cure, with a dream thematic;
- By xdisc: Pretty Cure Full Color, with a season theme and, like Shining, a perfectly matched team of Evil Counterparts. It has magical twigs, too;
- By friendshipbeam (renamed from skittlestemple): Futari wa Pretty Cure Blue Moon, which has a two-girl team, loads of time symbolism, and a group of villains that resembles a troupe of old-timey travelling performers;
- By Ryanasaurus 0077: This guy has so many series that he needed his own page;
- By steelspirit: Pretty Cure the Silver Knight Chronicles, a rare Kamen Rider-influenced entry;
- By Pretty_konjiki: Chance Pretty Cure, which features a trio of sisters as the main characters and Pretty Cure Lotus Pistol, a Nana-inspired story featuring a pair of Cures who are part of a rock band, among many, many others;
- By Snark: Pretty Cure Balls to The Wall, which follows a Sun/Moon duo in their battle against Space Nazis;
- By Honoka Tsukimori Hinamori: Guardian Heart Pretty Cure, which caught some flack at one point for filking from other Magical Girl anime;
- By Cure Wish 8: Futari wa Pretty Cure Eclipse, with two pairs of Cures, Pretty Cure Evolve Hearts, which is unusual in that the main character starts out as a Heel, Pretty Cure Nature Sparkle, with a team of five and a sequel, Pretty Cure Fantasia, with a distant location and magical theme, Heartstone Pretty Cure, with a jewel theme and similarities to Heartcatch Pretty Cure! and Fresh Pretty Cure!, Aristo Pretty Cure, with a 'Princess and the Pauper' theme, Paris Cure, with lots of French and a theme of fashion, Pretty Cure Sensei Note, with a duo of teachers with musical powers, and Cardinal Pretty Cure, featuring a season theme;
- By midoriri: Pretty Cure Bukatsudo Energetic, with another Boarding School-setting and featuring an "after-school activities" thematic, and Pretty Cure Entwined Hearts, featuring a "Shakespeare" theme;

- By Cure Resonance (known on this wiki as The Pulse): Pretty Cure Transient Cross NEWTON, which features a science/physics and medical theme and is unique in that all Cures (male and female) crossdress in Cure form;
- By spinflowers: Pretty Cure Precious Heart, which uses gems as a theme;
- By cupcakeforever: Crystal Pretty Cure, a three-season series, Pretty Cure Monsters In The City, with a monster thematic, Pretty Cure Angels vs. Demons, which features two sisters on opposing sides in a celestial war, and Pretty Cure Season Fury, with another season thematic;
