- Hey, It's That Guy!: Stana Katic is the Canadian agent at the end.
- Hey, It's That Voice!: Guillermo del Toro and Alfonso Cuaron provided some voicework.
- Troubled Production: Daniel Craig eventually revealed during an interview in 2012 that that the 2007-2008 Writers Strike had left the film without an actual script, forcing Craig and Director Marc Forster to try and write most of it themselves to meet MGM's release date. Unfortunately, most of the film's criticisms can be traced back to this as well.
- What Could Have Been:Originally had quips, famous quotes, and James Bond finally killing Mr. White and other members of Q.U.A.N.T.U.M., these scenes were all cut.
- David Arnold swears up, down and backwards that this was not supposed to be the Title Theme Tune, even though elements of it are repeated throughout the films soundtrack. Including the menu of Blu-ray. Yeah. Frigging. Right.
- Originally the climax was planned to happen in Swiss alps.
- Bruno Ganz was considered for the role of Greene.
