- During a sequence in episode 10 touching on each of the character's lives, Claire is standing outside here apartment building, practicing her bat swing and grousing about having to fight monsters and the job market when a random guy runs across the street, gives her some batting advice, and walks off. She tries again with his advice (and a noticeably harder swing), and behind her you can see the guy flinch.
- There's a scene in which Rachel scoffs at infomercials for being fake and stupid. Five seconds later, she's on the phone buying the product.
