The characters from the classic 80's movie "Revenge of the Nerds" with some backround information on the characters and some tropes they provide examples of.

The Nerds

Lewis Skolnick

The main nerd in the film. He starts out at Adams College with an optimistic attitude. He later learns to stand up for himself and "the rights of other nerds", as he puts it.

• Aesop Amnesia: In all the sequels, Lewis has to learn the exact same lesson over and over.
• Annoying Laugh
• Heterosexual Life Partners: With Gilbert.
• Lovable Nerd
• Motive Decay: So in the first movie he was proud of being a nerd, and then in the second one he doesn't like being called a nerd?
• Nerds Are Sexy: "All jocks ever think about is sports, but all nerds ever think about is sex" gets him the girl in the end.
• Nerds Are Virgins: He actually loses his virginity in the movie though, to an Omega Mu.
• Proud to Be a Geek

Gilbert Lowe

Lewis's best friend, who starts at Adams at the exact same time. He has a habbit of never looking on the bright side of things.

• Give Geeks a Chance: He and Lewis make a speech about this at the end.

Booger

Booger, who's real name is Dudley Dawson, may not be a "traditinal nerd" like the rest of them, but he's still an outcast. Also he's around as smart as the rest of the nerds.

• Ambulance Chaser: In the third and fourth movies.
• Badbutt: Easily the toughest of the Lambdas.
• Casanova: In the third and fourth movie it is implied that he's humped and dumped most of the Omega-Mu's.
• Character Rerailment: In the first movie Booger loves the Mu's, then in the second movie he only hits on the conventinally attractive girls. And in the third and fourth movie he's back to Ugly Cute Mu's.
• Dawson Casting: Curtis Armstrong was 30 when he first played Booger, who's supposed to be 18.
• Deadpan Snarker
• Fun T-Shirt: Most noteable would be "High On Stress" and "Gimme Head Til I'm Dead".

Takashi Toshiro

• Asian and Nerdy
• Just a Stupid Accent: He speaks perfect english, but he's gotta have that Japanese accent.

• Dirty Kid - At the party with the Omega Mus, its shown that because of his height he's about eye-level with the girls' chests. He's quite pleased.

• Blind Without'Em: Well, it's more like he's blind with em'.
