Rightpedia (also called RightWiki) is, at a glance, easily mistakable for Metapedia, which is understandable, as it is a fork of that project. However, while they share some ideological beliefs, they forked partially due to many of their members being ousted by a new administration, which they view as corrupt, and partially because they have a somewhat different mission statement, as outlined below:
Rightpedia is an alternative media encyclopedia focusing on topics and views that fall outside the norm of modern Cultural Marxist thought and other standard views. Rightpedia exists to challenge views on economics, history, science, society, and other concepts. Rightpedia is pro-nation, pro family, pro-God, pro social security and pro social justice. Rightpedia stands for the interest of all people, who are soil-bound and able and willing to maintain a home country and a nation, independent of race and color. |
According to them, while most ignorant of their true purpose would write them off as a Metapedia clone, they claim this is an erroneous assumption at best, as their mission statement above is intended to clarify.
Like Metapedia, they were established as an alternative to Wikipedia, only with the intent of being free from what they call Cultural Marxist, Jewish, and anti-nationalist influences on the content matter.
- A Nazi by Any Other Name: While calling them such would be a natural conclusion for most according to them, they insist this topic is but a small facet of their overall site mission. However, it cannot be denied the topic itself is covered in a rather endorsing light.
- Acceptable Targets: Cultural Marxism, anything Jewish, or anything that would lead to and/or be an agent of moral or national decay, as all the above are considered enemies of their ideology.
- Berserk Button: According to them being called far right is an overly narrow interpretation of their mission statement and considered a slur against their overall goals.
- Conspiracy Theorist: A discussed trope. Many things written off as conspiracy theories, including but not limited to "Cultural Marxism", are given more attention than they believe should be given by mainstream sources and examined in further detail instead of dismissed as they claim is done on sources like Wikipedia. This article about water fluoridation is an excellent example.
- Defector From Decadence: It was founded by ex-members of Metapedia, where they had been ousted by a new administration who acted corruptly in their eyes, and while the overall mission of Metapedia is largely identical to their own, they were no longer welcome there and decided to create their own fork of the project.
- Lethal Joke Weapon: Ordinarily, one would not consider a leaf blower to be all that dangerous and merely a harmless gardening device. This article begs to differ quite a bit.
- Properly Paranoid: Rightwiki argues many people and points of view the mainstream media has written off as batshit insane may not only be valid, but all too logical.
- Public Domain Character: Their logo is the Vitruvian man by Leonardo da Vinci.
- The Moral Substitute: To Wikipedia and other Cultural Marxist and Jewish influenced information sources in their view.
- Orwellian Editor: They admit as much regarding the rewriting of any content to align with their ideological positions, generally pro-European. Ironically, this is done as backlash due to belief this has been done to suppress certain viewpoints like the ones they espouse by those who control mainstream press and educational information sources, and thus is necessary to prevent perversion and corruption of the truth they are trying to spread that would otherwise be suppressed.
