SmackJeeves was a free webcomic service allowing users to upload and organize their own webcomics. Currently hosts over 10,000 comics online. It had a lot of Yaoi and sprite (usually Sonic) comics, but also hosts some hidden gems.
The site shut down at the end of 2020. Many of the hosted webcomics may still be viewable by way of the Internet Archive at archive.org.
