Formed in '01, Soil & "Pimp" Sessions is a club "death jazz" sextet from Tokyo. They're best known for their lively performances and performing Anime or Film OSTs. In 2003, they were the first unsigned band to play at the Fuji Rock Festival and their music really took off from there.
Soil & "Pimp" Sessions provides examples of the following tropes:
