- What Could Have Been: Being StudioFow's first major original video game as FOW Interactive, naturally things had to be altered or scrapped for the final product. Some changed include:
- Being a crowdfunded game, the amount of content added would have depended on how successful the Kickstarter is. While the crowdfunding proved to be an overwhelming success having received over $2 million from backers, StudioFow did have different versions of the game planned out depending on which milestones were or were not reached.
- One idea that StudioFow did consider was a game mechanic where the women of Mary Celeste could be impregnated by the Mantics. But this was ultimately scrapped as the creators felt that the mechanic was unnecessary and would cause far too many complications to both the story and game play. Word of God does mention that pregnancy content is not "completely off the table" but if it were to be implemented, it wouldn't be until the end of the game.
- DEMI has several alternate proto-design that included different "hairstyles", "skin color" and outfits, one of which included her being a Bandage Babe.
- It seems the Huntress was supposed to have a darker space suit with a red visor, as opposed to her more lightly colored pink outfit.
- Blythe seems to have gone through the most changes since her early designs, where she had longer hair, lacks the Artificial Limb, and wore a much more fanservice-y military uniform.
