Sumi Shimamoto is a voice actress born in 1954, and is currently married to a member of a comedy troupe called Chibikko Gang. Fans best know her as the Hot Mom of Detective Conan, Action Girl Nausicaa, and Kyoko from Maison Ikkoku. She is One of Us too, as she has a knack playing RPG games, too, even at 50+ years of age. Not too trend setting, until you realize this woman was the Ur Example of seiyuus for Yamato Nadeshiko in The Eighties and The Nineties...at least until Kikuko Inoue perfected the archetype in the mid-late 90's.
