The real list of tropes has just begun![]
- Action Dad: He is a father of five kids, not to mention he portrays an Ultraman. Hell, he is also one in his recent role in Chousoku Parahero Gundeen as the father of the titular hero, who happens to be portrayed by So Okuno, aka Sougo Tokiwa/Kamen Rider Zi-O.
- Ascended Fanboy: Tsuruno cites Ultraman 80 as his favorite Ultra Series, and at one point making a claim that 80 would appear in Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers in an interview. Hiroshi Nagano, on the other hand, debunks this.
- Star-Making Role: His role as Shin Asuka.
- Unperson: Is on the receiving end of one during an episode of Ultraman Chronicle Z: Heroes' Odyssey that features the crossover film Warriors from the Star of Light, with his characters' scenes being omitted but his stock grunts as Ultraman Dyna is kept intact. Unlike Hiroshi Nagano, who portrays Daigo Madoka due to the recent policies of his band's agency Johnny's & Associates, this is due to Takeshi Tsuruno being too critical with China, drawing heat even from the Chinese fanbase that we don't want to get into full details here.
