Original Tropes wikia[]
Wait, what happened to the original tropes wiki? You know, tropes.wikia.com? Because I spend a lot of time and effort on making their MGE page better and expanding it and suddenly I get directed here which is horribly outdated. Look if you want to change your wiki, fine, but at least make sure everything is transferred here and kept up-to-date, because I'm not going through all that trouble again. Especially since I'll only be able to do it through memory. Because if you're going to be that disrespectful towards people who spend a lot of their free time bettering your website, you can forget I'm going to do anything more. 213.119.32.191 09:52, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
- One, I did put put up a massive warning to everyone that the site would be changing to a new location, left it in place for a month, and solicited everyone's opinion on the changes, and offered a chance for everyone here to transfer what they cared about to the new one before the switch over. Second, I've already saved a copy of your work (since it was far more indepth than the original page and have re-added it here. GethN7 (talk) 12:41, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, okay then. Strange that I never noticed that message then. I would have restored this myself, but I didn't have access to the original. Also, I kinda thought it was gone for good, and that I put all that effort into it for nothing. That actually happened to me twice on Wikipedia, I put a lot of effort in cleaning a page and then it got deleted because it (the page, which I didn't even create) didn't fit their style. Since I thought it happened here again I might have overreacted. But still, thanks for informing me and my apologies if I came over too offensive. 213.119.32.191 14:49, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
