Brand: The Big Guy. Mikey's big brother, who as the eldest tries to be Team Dad when that responsibility is needed.
Andy: The Chick. A cheerleader who is the interest of the Jerk Jock but who actually likes Brand.
Stef: A somewhat snarky girl who wears Nerd Glasses. She's friends with Andy and, like her, doesn't usually associate with the Goonies.
Sloth: Originally the scary Madman in the Attic, but is revealed to be more of a Gentle Giant after becoming friends with Chunk. He joins the Goonies like a Sixth Ranger, adding some Dumb Muscle to their side when they confront the Fratellis.
The Fratellies:[]
Ma Fratelli: Evil Matriarch The leader of the Fratelli gang, and mother of Jake, Francis and Sloth
Francis: Wears a toupee, but denies it. apparently the 'favored' son.
Jake: Broken out of jail at the beginning of the movie. Likes to sing Italian opera.
Important minor characters[]
Mrs. Walsh: Overly energetic and paranoid when it comes to Mikey's alleged asthma.
Mr. Walsh: The curator of the local history museum.
Mr. Perkins: The main antagonist, wants to develop a golf course where the Goonies live.
Troy Perkins: The Jerk Jock, son of Mr. Perkins, has a crush on Andy and isn't afraid to admit it, likes to upskirt Andy (or look down at her cleavage) by tilting the car mirror.
Rosalita: the Hispanic cleaning person hired by Mikey's mother (doesn't speak English)
The sheriff: Understandably (and justifiably) doesn't believe Chunk when Chunk tells him he's locked in the Fratelli's basement (until the phone call gets abruptly cut off, then shows some concern). But he still doesn't believe in the pirate ship until he (and everyone else) saw it out in sea.
