• In the manga volume 'Smoke and Mirrors' (also known as the seven school mysteries) Kindaichi himself has a goose-bump-inducing conversation with the killer at the end of his Investigation of Revenge:

Culprit: No! I didn't do anything! I'm innocent!! Kindaichi: *Death Glare* Look me in the eye! If you still dare say that you're innocent, then look at this!! *reveals the hidden skeleton of previous victim* Well, Matoba? Say that you're innocent in front of one of your victims!! SAY IT!

• Villainous example for Giselle, who managed to narrow down the people responsible for her mother's death through a group of suspects with psychological trick via the blue roses along with "Misaki" and "Renka" roses.
  • How she confronts Sumeragi in the Drama version also deserves to be mentioned.

Giselle(after inviting Sumeragi to the mansion): Here is "Misaki and Renka" Rose Herb Tea.

Sumeragi(Shocked, but still able to calm down): Ahaha.. I actually don't really like this type of tea..
