Author's Saving Throw : Kyoto Beauty Florist Murder Case is this for the recurring "Mean Older Twin Site & Nice Younger Twin Sister" plot line. Sure, the younger Sakurako may be nice and self-sacrificing for her family, but her self-confidence and poor planning in decision (leaving the family to support them financially as an independant flower artist despite her leaving being the main reason that the school went down the drain even faster since it's missing her who was the main practitioner and heir), as well as being unable to perceive her older twin sister Kaoruko's feeling of having to practically live in her shadow under her superior Ikebana talent, while she herself had the praise and approval from her father to become the school's successor as well as a loving boyfriend by herself, compared to Kaoruko's, are also major flaws that contribute toward the case's tragedy.
Epileptic Trees - The remaining members of Takato's disciples: the Olympius Twelves.
Kindaichi's co-worker Marin Hayama is strongly suspected to be Poseidon due to her name sounds similar to "marine", and whenever she is close by, the message Kindaichi receives from the supposedly working Miyuki is too suspicious and is like she herself is there by his side.
Kindaichi's neighbors, single mother Momoka and her son Soya, are suspected to be "Aphrodite and Eros".
High Octane Nightmare Fuel - Most cases with a supposedly "supernatural" culprit count. There are many of them. The live action "The Seven Mysteries of the School" ("Smoke and Mirrors" in the U.S. manga translation) case had a scene involving a science lab at night with a jar containing a human head that suddenly...opened its eyes.
Magnificent Bastard - Takato Yoichi, the Moriarty-esque recurring villain that matches wits with Kindaichi.
Mind Game Ship - Considering that majority of the ships are Murderer x Kindaichi or Murderer x Victim, this is unavoidable.
