Tomo Sakurai is a voice actress born in 1971. Prior to becoming a voice actress, she was a teenage Idol Singer, serving as the lead singer of the trio Lemon Angel (who also had their own late-night anime series spinning off from Cream Lemon). After that, she moved to voice acting. Her roles are usually Action Girls; she is most famous as the Kunoichi Misao in Rurouni Kenshin, Hot Mom Chigusa Sakai in Shakugan no Shana, and Azusa Miura in Idolmaster: Xenoglossia.
Retired from voice acting in 2016 due to changes in her vocal cords, but un-retired three years later.
