- Box Office Bomb: An interesting example. The film cost between $217 to $260 million to make and it only made $600 million. That alone is not a bad haul, but for the Transformers films it's truly an embarrassing number with it being, at minimum, $100 million less than what was projected which meant Hasbro couldn't even afford to renew their license with Activision. And that's not even getting into how terribly it was received.
- The Danza: Izabella is played by Isabela Moner.
- Executive Meddling: The original was allegedly three hours long before Paramount executives ordered the cutting of several scenes, creating what many saw as Plot Holes and the sloppy editing.
- Fan Nickname: Viviane is "British Megan Fox" for providing the gratuitous fanservice and kinda looking like her.
- Franchise Killer: As a result of the poor box office and critical performance, Bumblebee was turned from a Prequel into a Continuity Reboot.
- I Knew It!: Since Transformers: Dark of the Moon never outright showed Cybertron being destroyed, virtually every fan called that it had survived. Though admittedly it is in much worse shape than most fan theories thought.
- What Could Have Been:
- Tyrese Gibson was to reprise his role as Epps but scheduling conflicts prevented this. Oddly enough, he was only revealed to not be in the film the day before it came out in the US.
- At some point, it appears that Optimus Primal (or an Expy of him) was to make an appearance.
- Supposedly, the Creators were going to be the whole Quintesson race before Hasbro made the writers use a singular Creator.
- The red markings on Optimus and Megatron's faces was originally meant to be Dark Energon, and was to be removed from Optimus by lobbing a canister of Energon at his head, the effects of Primus' blood cancelling out Unicron's and freeing the Prime.
