- Big Lipped Alligator Moment: At one point Mike fights a Giant Spider in the basement, killing it by flooding the basement and electrocuting it. But when the bad teenagers steal the Goo moments later, there is no water in the basement, nor is there any sign of the spider's corpse, and the whole incident is never mentioned again.
- Estrogen Brigade/Testosterone Brigade: The main reason anyone checks out this movie is to see giant, half-naked teenagers dancing. Joy Harmon as Merrie is the standout.
- Evil Is Sexy: Jerk Jocks and Alpha Bitches the giants may be, they do look nice.
- Signature Scene: The giant teens dancing, even though it's pure Padding.
- Special Effect Failure: The props used to depict the body parts of the giant teens during close-ups of normal sized people are rather unconvincing.
